As part of our multi-step project, we had a chat and chew at A.P. Hill Elementary to discuss bullying and self-image with parents and students.

 

We setup a photo booth that allowed students to take selfies or small group pictures with their friends. The booth will include props as well as words that promote positive affirmations. These photos can then be uploaded to the “I Am” social media outlets or photos can be tagged with #iAm.

There was also an information table which included copies of articles that are relevant to our theme. These articles are particularly timely to educators and parents. Additional resources and/or activity sheets were also provided for student use.
